Note:
Students taking any external examination during IMOTC 2024 dates are requested to select CHENNAI as their exam centre. Efforts will be made to accommodate such exam schedules in the IMOTC programme but it is not guaranteed that such efforts will be successful.

Announcement – INMO 2024 Official Solutions
The official solutions (revised) of the problems asked in INMO 2024 are here. Please note that each problem may have more than one solution and not all solutions may have been included in the official solution set that has been uploaded on this webpage. Comments on the problem statements and the official solutions may be sent by email to matholy@hbcse.tifr.res.in till 23:59, January 23, 2024. All emails to this effect received after the cutoff time will NOT be entertained. Please note that the emails will not be replied to individually but the comments received will be examined by the committee for further action.
Notice regarding the participation of OCI students in Mathematical Olympiads
As per the orders of the Madras High Court, students with OCI status will not be eligible for selection to the Indian team in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO), Asian Pacific Mathematical Olympiad (APMO). However, such students are provisionally eligible for selection at ALL prior stages, up to and including the International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC) and European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp (EGMOTC) provided they fulfill all other criteria. They are also provisionally eligible to write the selection tests at the IMOTC and EGMOTC. This policy is subject to revision without prior notice depending on any further orders issued by the courts, or by a competent Government authority.
Announcement of the stages of selection for the 2023-2024 cycle
In the 2023-2024 cycle, the selection to the International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC) will be accomplished in three stages.

All Students (qualified RMO2023 & IA2023) will have to register for INMO 2024 registration will start from January 8, 2024 and the registration portal will close at 17:30 on January 12, 2024. If they do not register by the closing date January 12, 2024 they WILL BE DISQUALIFIED from INMO 2024.

Indian National Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp (INMOTC2023-24)
The INMOTC 2023 – 2024 for the Mumbai region will be held at Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) from January 9 to January 13, 2024. Those students of Mumbai region who qualify for INMO 2024 from RMO 2023 will be eligible to attend the camp. The students of Mumbai region who were exempted from IOQM 2023 and RMO 2023 by virtue of being an INMO 2023 Awardee and are still eligible to write INMO 2024 are NOT allowed to attend the INMOTC 2023 – 2024 for the Mumbai region. Further information about the camp will be sent to the eligible students by email at a later date.
Kindly note the above camp is arranged for qualified students of the Mumbai region only. We regret that, under no circumstances, it is possible to admit students from other regions to the INMOTC in Mumbai.

Registration for RMO2023 has begun. To register for RMO2023 click here.
Hall tickets for RMO2023 will be available for downloading by October 20, 2023.
The regions of the students selected to appear for RMO2023 will be same as that of IOQM.
No region change request will be entertained in this regard.
Announcement regarding Regional Mathematical Olympiad 2023
- The Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO), 2023 will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2023 across the country between 13:00 and 16:00. The duration of the examination is three hours.
- The eligibility criteria for RMO 2023 and the qualification criteria for INMO 2024 from RMO 2023 are here. The region-wise lists of students who are eligible to write RMO 2023 is available here: https://www.mtai.org.in/ioqm-2023/ .
- The students who are eligible to write RMO 2023 must register for RMO 2023. The registration portal will open by October 15, 2023 and the link to the portal will be uploaded on this page. Please keep checking this page intermittently.
- The RMO 2023 question paper consists of six questions. The response to each question requires writing detailed mathematical arguments.
