NSEB: November 22, 2026, 14:30-16:30 hrs
NSEC: November 22, 2026, 11:30-13:30 hrs
NSEP: November 22, 2026, 08:30-10:30 hrs
Enrolment
NSE centre registration: August 1-20, 2026
Student enrolment: August 21-September 14, 2026
Enrolment fee: Rs. 300 per student per subject

Stage II: Indian National Olympiad Examinations (INOs)
INAO: January 30, 2027, 09:00-12:00 hrs
INChO: January 30, 2027, 13:30-16:30 hrs
INPhO: January 31, 2027, 09:00-12:00 hrs
INBO: January 31, 2027, 13:30-15:30 hrs
The list of students selected for the INOs will be published by January 15, 2027 on the IAPT website (www.iapt.org.in). All students appearing in INOs must register themselves on the HBCSE website after publication of the list, in order to obtain their INO admit cards. This registration is mandatory; failure to register will result in disqualification for INO.
Junior Science Olympiad
The National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS) and the Indian National Junior Science Olympiad (INJSO) are conducted entirely by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) and are not administered by HBCSE. For information, please visit https://jso.indapt.org.in/.
