  1. Students must hold a valid Indian Passport as per the visa regulations of the country hosting the International Olympiad before the end of the respective Orientation –cum- Selection Camp (OCSC)*. It is the student's responsibility to determine that he/she satisfies eligibility norms. If at some later stage it is found that the student does not meet eligibility norms, he/she may face disqualification from the programme.

  1. Indian National Olympiad (INO) hall ticket must be preserved and must be presented at the time of OCSC.

FOR ASTRONOMY AND CHEMISTRY ONLY

  1. Starting this year, a student would have to declare his/her order of preference amongst overlapping OCSCs. In case he/she scores above the OCSC cut-off in more than one overlapping OCSC, he/she will be selected as per the preference given.

For the year 2012, OCSC for Astronomy is likely to overlap with Asian Physics olympiad as well as OCSCs for Chemistry, Mathematics and Earth Science. Similarly, OCSC for Chemistry is likely to overlap with Asian Physics olympiad as well as OCSCs for Astronomy, Mathematics and Earth Science. You will be asked to indicate your order of preference on the INAO/INChO answersheet.

If no order of preference is indicated, it would automatically imply that Astronomy/Chemistry OCSC is the least preferred option for you in respective INOs. Writing conflicting choices in different INO answersheets, may result in disqualification. No change of order of preference at a later date is allowed.

*If you do not have a valid Indian Passport, apply for it immediately.
