Message – IMOTC 2026

• Arrival day at CMI, Chennai for Junior batch students of IMOTC 2026 is May 6, 2026.
• Arrival day at CMI, Chennai for Senior batch students of IMOTC 2026 is May 10, 2026.
• Departure day from CMI, Chennai for both Junior and Senior batch students of IMOTC 2026 is June, 1, 2026.
• The IMOTC 2026 dates CANNOT be changed now. Therefore please DO NOT write to the Mathematical Olympiad Cell, HBCSE requesting them to consider changing the dates of the IMOTC 2026. The students who are eligible to attend IMOTC 2026 and are also eligible to write JEE Advanced 2026 on May 17, 2026 may opt for a JEE Advanced 2026 exam centre in CHENNAI.

The Asian Pacific Mathematics Olympiad (APMO) 2026 will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 09:00 – 13:00 in various regional centres. The list of students eligible to write APMO 2026 will be released by 23:59 on March 6, 2026 along with the final results of the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) 2026.

Please note that OCIs are NOT eligible to write APMO 2026 in accordance with the criterion stated below.

As per the orders of the Madras High Court, students with OCI status will not be eligible for selection to the Indian team in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO), Asian Pacific Mathematics Olympiad (APMO). However, such students are provisionally eligible for selection at ALL prior stages, up to and including the International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC) and the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp (EGMOTC) provided they fulfil all other criteria. They are also provisionally eligible to write the selection tests at the IMOTC and EGMOTC. This policy is subject to revision without prior notice depending on any further orders issued by the courts, or by a competent Government authority.

  Please note: The re-evaluation requests will be received till 23:59, December 8, 2025. Any requests received after 23:59 on December 8, 2025, will not be entertained. 
  The last date for submitting re-evaluation requests for the Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Andaman & Nicobar region only is 18:00 on December 10, 2025, due to the delayed publication of the RMO scores for this region.

To whomsoever it may concern

Thank you for submitting re-evaluation requests. Please note the following. 

1. The provisional score of RMO 2025 may either increase or decrease or remain the same after re-evaluation. If there is no change in provisional score after re-evaluation, it should not be construed as “no re-evaluation was done”. 
2. As a matter of policy the emails sent to HBCSE along with the re-evaluation requests will neither be replied to individually nor would they be referred to before, during or after the re-evaluation is conducted. In fact it should be noted that such emails are seen as means of inducing bias in the minds of the evaluators. Please refrain from writing such emails to us no matter how noble the intentions may be.   
3. The final scores of RMO 2025 will be declared along with the final results of RMO 2025. The final results of RMO 2025 will be declared on or before December 16, 2025. Please keep checking this page intermittently. 6
