In view of the worsening situation of the Covid-19 pandemic across the country, and consequent closure of educational institutions and travel restrictions announced by the central government and different state governments, the following decisions regarding the Indian Olympiad Qualifier (IOQ) examinations scheduled in January 2022 are announced.
- The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) and Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Junior Science (IOQJS) examinations scheduled to be held on January 9, 2022 are postponed. The new dates of these two examinations will be announced later.
- The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Physics (IOQP) and Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Biology (IOQB) examinations scheduled to be held on January 16, 2022 are postponed. The new dates of these two examinations will be announced later.
- The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Astronomy (IOQA) and Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Chemistry (IOQC) examinations scheduled to be held on January 23, 2022 are postponed. The new dates of these two examinations will be announced later.
- The currently issued Hall Tickets for the examinations on January 9, January 16 and January 23 stand cancelled. Fresh Hall Tickets will be issued after new dates for the examinations are announced.
- The special selection scheme for the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad 2022 outlined here stands withdrawn.
